MnTAP is the premier provider of industry and process-specific pollution prevention information in Minnesota. MnTAP's engineers and scientists work to prevent the pollution of our land, air and water and to keep Minnesota businesses competitive. |
| Content: |
Assistance provided by MnTAP - a program at the University of MN funded by the MPCA - includes telephone assistance, site visits, summer intern projects, materials exchange program, demonstration projects, presentations and workshops.
Similar pollution prevention work is done by Minnesota RETAP (Retired Engineers Technical Assistance Program) for MN public sector and commercial service businesses and institutions (see http://www.pca.state.mn.us/retap). Minnesota Waste Wise (see http://www.mnwastewise.org/) also provides waste reduction assistance.
For multiple copies of a MnTAP or RETAP brochure to distribute to the manufacturing and retail businesses in a community, contact each program directly.
