Content: ATTRA is an excellent web site and service that provides information and other technical assistance to farmers, ranchers, extension agents, educators, and others involved in sustainable agriculture in the United States. Their assistance is available through the web site below or by toll-free call at 800/346-9140.

Launched in 1987, ATTRA is funded by the USDA and managed by the nonprofit National Center for Appropriate Technology (http://www.ncat.org/), which has a goal of "helping people by championing small-scale, local and sustainable solutions to reduce poverty, promote healthy communities, and protect natural resources."
