The Metropolis Next Generation Prize competition offers $10,000 in seed money for projects that benefit people and the environment. Established to encourage tomorrow's rising stars in design, the award aims to jump-start entrepreneurial projects, including human-centered products, environments, and communication systems.
Architects and designers who have been in practice 10 years or fewer are eligible. Judges will be looking for evidence of systems thinking, sustainable and accessible designs, technological innovation and/or inventive materials, and economic potential.
