Small grants are available for organic farmers and organic handlers to help reimburse for documented costs of becoming organic certified. |
| Content: |
Organic farmers and organic handlers (food processors, distributors and retailers) who become organic certified are eligible for payments through the MN Department of Agriculture (MDA). Reimbursements for 75% of documented costs of certification are available, up to a maximum of $750.
Applications are typically invited starting in August with deadlines in October.
