River Awareness Day with the Cedar Riverside Youth Council

Friends of the Mississippi is proud to sponsor the Cedar Riverside Youth Council for an evening presentation of their restoration and education work at the Brian Coyle Community Center, from 5:00-7:30pm.

This youth-organized event will include a presentation of photos from their spring events, testimonials from council members, hands-on water-quality activities, and discussions about water resources in Minnesota and Somalia. All ages are welcome to attend and share in celebrating the Mississippi River as a part of the Third Annual Youth Awareness Week! Snacks will be provided.
